Your Excellence Connection April 07
How do we know when we are on the right track or when we have lost our way? What do achievers do to keep things in balance so their dream and goals become reality?
If you understand the process of achieving goals you will recognise that it involves resistance, challenges distractions and hurdles. Successful people look at hurdles as opportunities to learn. They also surround themselves with their dream team. Having these people around will keep you focussed, encourage you and support your journey to success. People who will help you see things as they really are from a new prospective. You need people around you who are uplifting and believe in the capacity for people to achieve anything.
Who is on your team?
Who is not?
What motivates you?
What distracts you?
The future is promised to no one and so take a chance and just go for it.
You have your dream team, you have your goal, and so what is next? This is where the difference is between making it happen and letting it always remain a dream.
Learn to model those who have always achieved. What are they doing right? What are they doing wrong? Don’t be afraid to ask. Allow your team to give you feedback and really take on board what they are telling you. Trust in your own previous success and knowledge. Be prepared to do what it takes to make it happen.
Above all dreams will not become reality unless you take ACTION.
A acknowledge achievements, be accountable and always be willing to learn.
